Columnist endorses Glen; campaign is in its final push

By Glen Argan

I was pleased to read today’s Edmonton Journal and see that columnist David Staples has given me his endorsement as the best candidate for Catholic trustee in Ward 75 — http://edmontonjournal.com/news/local-news/david-staples-culture-wars-heat-up-school-trustee-races.

This is an important vote of confidence as our campaign moves into its last days.

We have had a strong grassroots campaign with more than 70 volunteers, including four former Edmonton Catholic school trustees, helping out in one way or another and more than 50 people who donated financially. Also engaged in the Glen Argan Campaign are dozens of people who have said they will pray for its success.

We are now engaged in our final push to the Oct. 16 election with a flurry of door-to-door and telephone engagements with voters.

I urge all Ward 75 voters to get out and vote, either in the advance poll or in your neighbourhood on Oct. 16. Your vote will help to make this a clear, unambiguous victory.
